Course Duration: Approximately 15-25 Days
Classroom Instruction: On Site Option: 48:00 Hours. (DISTANCE LEARNING) 40:00 Hrs + 8:00 Hrs On-Site. NOTE: Home study option is available for on-line training only.
System Integration Training: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM, 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours LOFT.

Boeing 747-400 PIC Reduced Certification, ATP/Type Rating, Part 61
This course is for crewmembers that have been previously trained and qualified as a Pilot on the B747-400 aircraft, with a minimum of 250 hours logged in aircraft type. The course provides the crewmember with the necessary knowledge and skills to obtain a B747-400 Type Rating.
Course Duration: Approximately 4 to 7 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 12:00 Hours PF, 12:00 Hours PM, or train to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT (Each Pilot). Non Paired: 18:00 Hours PF, or train to proficiency, 02:00 Hours LOFT

Boeing 747-400 PIC Recurrent, Part 61.58
This course is to ensure that a PIC crewmember is adequately trained and currently proficient with respect to the B747-400 aircraft. The course is applicable to previously trained and qualified PIC crewmembers on the B747-400 aircraft.
Course Duration: Approximately 4 Days
Classroom Instruction: 16:00 Hours
Simulator/Flight Training: Paired: 02:00 Hours PF, 02:00 Hours PM. Non Paired: 04:00 Hours PF

B747-400 PIC INITIAL TRAINING
This core curriculum is the approved course of training which leads to a type rating in the B747-400 aircraft and is also the approved course of training for those pilots that meet the Air Transport Pilot (ATP) requirements of 14 CFR Part 61 to obtain an ATP certificate. Trainees must successfully complete the applicable B747-400 Ground Training curriculum segments, before proceeding to the Flight Training curriculum segments.

If the student selects the Home Study option, he/she will be required to receive a Validation Test to be administered at the beginning of the class. The student MUST achieve a minimum passing grade of 80%. If he/she fails the test, the student must then accomplish the entire course On-Site.

*A 2-hour LOFT is required for Initial Certification or additional Rating if all training and testing is accomplished in a Level C or D simulator.
